# it's one of the most horrifying and literally frightening

# Blink was wonderfully suspenseful but this is somewhere beyond that

# The Doctor does so much empowering of humans and believes in them so often and 99.7% of the time they wind up coming through with the right coaxing in the end but in this particular little instance when they were actually the only thing he had to work with they almost completely failed

# and you get to watch them do it

# and it's heartbreaking and creepy and fascinating and scary all at once

# and you can watch the Doctor break into so many tiny little pieces

# it took me so long to even catch the 'no don't do that' at the end when Donna mimicks him because I was always still reeling from the previous events
