The year is 2047. Welcome to Republic City, the city that was once known as London, England. Steam has become the most reliable alternate resource for energy, and those with the ability to manipulate elements walk amongst us, called benders.

Equalists, who believe in the equalizing of benders and nonbenders (ultimately, by banning the use of bending everywhere) are on the rise within the city walls, causing tensions to rise amongst the citizens for the first time in a very long while.

No one has gone beyond, nor come through the city walls in 35 years. With the momentum of social unrest in the city, the citizens are finally starting to question the authority of their government. 

With an Equalist infiltrated as the new Chief of Police, violence spreads like wildfire, and no one knows who they can trust anymore. The once peaceful Republic City is slowly spiraling into chaos, and everything the citizens have ever known are about to be overturned.
